Music For All Kids (MFAK) is a Marquette, MI based non-profit formed in 2013 to provide free music instruction and training to at-risk students ages 5-18. MFAK’s goal is to use music as a pathway to sustainable and positive change for youth.

What we bring to our community!
We offer a self-sustaining system of education and enrichment using musical interests and abilities to foster healthy youth development.
MFAK provides instruction, instruments, workshops, and much more. While our initial focus was at-risk and low-income youth, today we offer opportunities to a variety of underserved youth in our home community of Marquette, Michigan.
MFAK collaborates with local school districts and other nonprofit community organizations to serve those in need.
We currently serve the Great Lakes Recovery Centers Adolescent Treatment Students, MARESA Transition Classrooms and the Lake Superior Village
Our talented Director and instructor, Nicklas Johnson, is an accomplished and seasoned professional musician, having formed, managed and fronted the popular local band, The Daydreamers, for many years. Nick has an extensive background not only in music instruction on a variety of instruments but in the business of music marketing, booking, promotion and recording as well.

Music For All Kids is community minded, funded and supported. While we receive regular grant funding from several local foundations and service organizations, much of our support comes from directly from people like you through your generous donations. In addition to your generous financial support, MFAK is also in need of music instrument donations for use by our students. If you have unused instruments you would like to see put to great use by local students, please give Nick a call at (906) 235-0995
